It's Snowing, Yep, It's baseball season then.

Well we know its officially baseball season when it gets real cold and starts snowing right?? So Mick isn't real happy about all this snow, but I on the other hand was pretty excited! Something about the beauty of it, since we don't see it but once a year. We have had a busy morning that has made for a grumpy Micah. We went to our church and when we entered in-no snow-when we left-blizzard! Then Hayden (Haydee to Micahbird) was singing at his church so we drove there and then to lunch before heading home because we knew it might be our last meal out to eat for a while. All Micah wanted to do was eat the ice, he wasn't concerned with the beauty of it at all nor did he want to take in the pretty trees etc. with me. He simply wanted to eat the ice he said and he still insisted it was rain not snow. I was determined that Micah get out in it just like last year. Mick voiced his lack of excitment before we even got to the house. But then he suited up just like we did. Micah was crying and whining but snow comes but once a year kid...so I did what any good mother would do...I bundled him up, sent him out and took some pictures. He did like the snow when he wasn't crying or trying to feel his hands that almost got frostbitten. All in all a stressful time in the snow but better than last year...go back to Jan. 18, '08 post and see how much fun I insisted Micah have in his last snow day. See a trend here? He also has on the same coat from last year...I kept wanting to sing "Fat boy in a little coat" One day he'll be old enough to enjoy it and I'll be too old to play! Just teasing! Hope all of your families made the most of the snow if you got any.

So sad - we should have brought the kids over. We really did not get any snow at our house! Bay did go out with Bunker and throw him ice balls to run and catch. Good dog because Mommy and Daddy were not going out in the old ice - no snow! Micah looks so cute! WENDY

I bet if you all had snow suits like ours, Micah wouldn't have gotten sick!! Just kidding!! No-we're staying at Mom and Dad's and that's all we could find here. Pax's suit used to be Adam's. We were lucky to find anything. I was even wearing barn boots!
