McGuires. Micah left his mark on a dollar bill. There are thousands on the ceilings, walls, you name it:)
Sadie Jane had no problem putting the food away. Here she is with her favorite addiction. Fruit snacks. Ugh.
Cheers!
Let's be honest, we LOVE to eat out. I mean some people might not, but we do. If given the opportunity I will almost always choose to go out to eat. I don't know why I just really like to do it. I know it is often more work with two kiddos but I still enjoy it most of the time:) We headed to Destin last Saturday as our second annual spring break trip as just our family of four. I have lots of pictures to post so I am dividing by category. These are not exciting or interesting posts to all so feel free to skip us for a few days. First day Mick slept in and the kiddos and I went grocery shopping and did really well eating in breakfast and lunch all but one day. We packed picnics and one day(made and exception) went to Chick-fil-a with coupons from our calendars of course. We did this so that we could then go out to eat at our favorite restaurants. Well, some at least. Destin has sooo many good ones. Some not so much for children under 4:) I grew up going to Destin with my family so it is really special to me that we are carrying on some of the same traditions that my parents took me to when I was little. I have written on the walls at Fudpuckers umpteen times so it was neat to have my babies do the same...and Micah loved the alligators! The ones we visited are listed above. The only two I think I didn't get pictures at was The Crab Trap and the Market in Seagrove. Just in case you are planning your Destin vacation you now have some restaurants to choose from...overall the kiddos did great...we ate really early so we never had to wait and we tried to go places with a playground etc. McGuires' was a bit of a let down and a little dark so SayJ went bisserk for some reason! We think the darkness scared her, but either way her attitude scared us. Mick and I don't remember much about our food there and we had indigestion. So our vacation from cooking (ok, from eating at chain restaurants) was a success in my book! More exciting posts to come...I know you can't wait
