Trip Recap...

Get ready for alot of pictures...mainly for Jenny and Nana. I have no idea why in the world the underline is on!Getting ready to go, we heard it was going to be bright in Fernandina.

So we had a great time at the beach. I wondered how things would go on the beach with two. Micah absolutely loved the beach this time. Fernandina Beach was awesome for families. It is a huge beach from ocean to sand dunes and from family to family. No one around us could even hear our conversation. Which I love. And Say J would nurse and then go down for a nap in her little tent and be good to go. Micah just played and played, in the freezing cold water. Mick won father of the year when he got in the ice cold pool to play with Micah. We did not go to the pool again after that. We also went to Savannah for the day to see some(very little) of the sights and watch Destiny and Hannah, two of Mick's old softball girls play for Armstrong Atlantic. Micah's favorite part was actually the fountain in downtown Savannah. Mick and I laughed so hard when he got an eyefull while waiting for it to squirt up. The fountain was like the one in Cent. Park but a lot less crowded and cleaner. We did not enjoy these pesky gnats that were at the ballfield though, for those of you down south I don't know how you deal with those...they were awful and they hurt when they bit you. We are hoping Des comes closer to home for her senior year:) We miss her alot. She also got to come eat dinner with us the last night we were in Fernandina. Micah and Sadie Jane love her and so do we, she is such a fun girl. We found some good restaurants to eat at too. Mainly we just played together as a family and had fun just being together.
