The Lake.

Lovin' life on the lake.
The boys on the lake.

Mom, Dad and Jane

Dad telling a "funny" story I am sure.
Paul definitely was voted "Most Popular" by all in attendance.
Micah messing with Budda's ropes.
Love the back rolls.
There was constant action at the dock.
SayJ in her 4th finest.
See ya!
Micah says she said to get off of her.

We couldn't decide if we should head to the lake for the 4th this year since we had added our sweet SayJ and we had family coming in to go there as well. We were going to get a condo or stay in a tent or stay at the neighbors but we ended up packing the place like sardines and toughing it out for two nights. Sleeping in a room with one kiddo had been a challenge in the past...but honestly with two it is a pure nightmare. They both did relatively well but we were all sleep deprived by the time of departure. Other than that the food was delicious (thanks to Jenny and Jane), the weather was beautiful(thanks to Jesus), and the family time was in abundance. I even got to run at the lake which feels a little closer to the Lord than our cement circle here at home. Pauly, who is a lifetime runner even ran with me and made it even more fun one of the days. There is also exhaustion trying to make sure all three babies heads are above water. We only lost Micah once, he went inside the cabin but still had his lifevest on at least. Mick and Hayden also fell off the seadoo while Micah stayed on solo. We could hear Micah screaming from the dock. Micah was a bit of a scaredy cat at the lake which only means we need to go more often. Sadie Jane did great as usual just still doesn't like to sleep. But baby girl is happy and raring to go all the time. She loved the sun, the sand and the water...but each thing for only a limited amount of time. Thanks to Jenny and Budda for making it happen and for sleeping on the floor...that is some unconditional love for your child and grandchildren for sure!
