Trip Recap...
Photoshoots with Micah!
Micah is a challenge in so many ways. But he is also hilarious. Don't worry, he has no idea that we think so. But the beach trip was so much fun, and one reason being we did not spank or have to put the bird in timeout. Perfect he was not, and there were a few meltdowns...but all in all he was getting tons of attention from one parent or the other so he had no need to act out. He did do tons of things that just had us cracking up. Literally every twenty minutes on the way down, I would hear him talking and look back and he'd be clapping his hands saying"We are going to Fernandina beach!!" followed by a yippee, or an I'm so excited! I got to spend some time alone with him at the store a few days (thanks to Mick) which was so nice just to interact and talk with him without being preoccupied. He really is growing up. Because we spent alot of time using the gps thingy (thank you softball girls!) Micah was constantly telling us to turn left or go this way or that. He used to really work it for the camera, but now he is all about just being difficult and above are some of the times he did so. Enjoy the commentary!

Favorites from our Trip...
So we traveled to Fernandina Beach on Easter, (I was the bright one who scheduled our departure on Easter Sunday, not realizing what I was doing). We made it with little incident and had a WONDERFUL time! I know, I can hardly believe the Harper's went somewhere and had no sickness, accidents(that doesn't include bedwetting), mishaps (that doesn't include a "warning"), ok, well we had a good time and didn't have anything major go wrong. This was our first trip as a family and we wondered how it would go. It had benefits and drawbacks but we got good time with our family so that was such a blessing after baseball had nearly consumed our lives. I was thankful to get to run every day and go to Target with just one child at a time. I have lots of stories but also lots to unpack so for now I'll leave you with some pictures. To be continued...

Going for a Record!
We were going for a record in both number of Easter egg hunts as well as total eggs in basket. Micah had his last (maybe) egg hunt today at school. He was definitely into it more than the other kids due to both his competitive nature and the fact that he had so much practice! I was literally walking behind him dropping eggs from his basket for the other kiddos. Although they did "redistribute the wealth" after we came inside. I had mixed emotions about this and Mick would have definitely wanted Micah to get to keep all his eggs...just teasing...we know that they are just 2 but it was funny to watch Micah look at his basket when it wasn't the way he left it. We had another family event today that I am not really ready to blog about but would appreciate your prayers. One more game and we have Mick to ourselves for a week...I can not wait and I know the babies can't either!
